Description

NESTEC, Inc. is a full service equipment design firm specializing in solutions for plant emission issues. We are currently expanding our operations due to demand and are in search of a MECHANICAL DESIGNER to provide detailed design of air pollution control equipment and coordinate contract designers and engineers. Position requires the highest proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical, 2010 or later, and a thorough understanding of plate, structural steel and industrial sheet metal fabrication and construction practices. Knowledge of piping, combustion systems, refractory, thermal insulation and air pollution control systems is a plus. Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Excel and Word, with excellent written and verbal communication skills is also required

Working with a team of experienced engineers, the position requires editing of existing drawings and creation of new drawings to company standards, working to specific project deadlines. This position will also require the transmittal, electronic filing of NESTEC drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.

Up to 25% travel will be required to determine and/or verify field dimensions at customer facilities or check on fabricator progress, fabrication specifics, and assembly details of piping and instrumentation.
