NESTEC has a solid history of engineering and performing rebuilds of customers’ existing air pollution control equipment. Rebuilds may address issues that have arisen due to improper original design, operation outside of design parameters, corrosion/oxidation, and/or the effects of improper mothballing over long periods of idle time.
Equipment capacity expansions and upgrades to incorporate new controls and other features are routine work for NESTEC. Changes in burners, fans, and heat recovery media can increase the throughput capacity of RTOs, and the addition of heat recovery bypasses may increase the VOC treatment capacity.
Repairs, both large and small, are routinely performed by our service personnel or with the assistance of subcontractors.
