Mass Transfer Heat Recovery Media
The use of ceramic material for heat recovery has been around since the 1880's. Ceramics have been used in regenerative thermal oxidizers since the late 1970’s and have led to the development of unique shapes and chemical content. As this industry grew, the demand for low cost ceramic material created both domestic and international sources for ceramics.
Over the years, NESTEC, Inc. has established relationships with both domestic and international suppliers of high quality ceramic heat recovery media. Our suppliers are ISO 9001 certified and every NESTEC, Inc. shipment is tested to ASME test procedures prior to leaving the factory. Our manufacturers have been in the ceramic heat exchange business for more than 10 years.
Our primary products are: ½, 1, and 1½” saddles both in porcelain ceramic and high alumina. We also offer low pressure drop saddles and 25x25, 40x40, and 43x43 porous and high density structured monolith for certain applications.
